SALES TERMS / RENTAL CONDITIONS for apartment rental through trysilrent.com

The sales terms, together with your booking confirmed through an order confirmation, constitute the complete contractual basis for the purchase. These provisions apply as a binding contract for services purchased via www.trysilrent.com. Consumer purchases are regulated by, among others, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act, the E-commerce Act, and the Credit Purchase Act.

The conditions apply to the rental of leisure apartments booked via trysilrent.com, hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”. Where written communication is required in these terms, this is fulfilled by use of email, SMS, letter, or similar.

1. GENERAL

a. The renter/booker must be 25 years or older; this also applies to the person responsible for the apartment throughout the stay. ID must be presented at check-in. If the renter is under 25, keys will not be issued and the rental amount will not be refunded.

b. Check the confirmation you receive to ensure it matches your booking. The renter is responsible for ensuring the contract is correct.

c. Seller disclaims responsibility for errors made by guests who have not followed our terms.

d. Rental rights cannot be transferred to others.

e. Seller is not responsible for break-ins or theft of the renter’s belongings.

f. Seller’s contents/inventory insurance does not cover the renter’s personal belongings.

g. The renter is obliged to familiarize themselves and guests with the location of fire extinguishing equipment and other house rules.

h. Final cleaning is included in the price.

i. Use of bed linen is not included in the price.

j. Parking in common areas at Vikinggrenda, or in large parking lots belonging to the ski resort. Parking is at your own risk.

k. Electric cars can be charged at the Skistar service center Charging Station. Seller is not responsible for any costs regarding charging.

 

2. HOUSE RULES

a. Smoking and pets are not permitted.

b. Renter must follow regulations regarding pets, smoking, and use of open fire. Violations will be invoiced a minimum fee of NOK 1,500.

c. Show consideration for neighbors; quiet hours after 23:00.

d. Treat the unit and equipment in a way that no damage or unnecessary wear occurs.

e. Leave the home in good order – as it was upon arrival. This includes doing dishes, removing trash, and checking the oven/fridge.

f. When leaving, all windows must be closed and doors locked. Turn off lights/electrical equipment and turn down (floor) heating, but do not turn it off.

g. Compensation will be claimed for broken inventory, vandalism, or self-inflicted fire alarms leading to emergency response.

h. Renter must compensate for any damage caused to the unit.

i. Electricity and WiFi are included.

j. Respect private property stored in plastic boxes under beds. k. Loss of keys results in a NOK 2,000 replacement fee. l. Breach of rules may lead to immediate eviction.

 

3. BOOKING

a. You will receive an email upon completed booking, provided a valid email address was used.

 

4. PRICES

a. Agreed prices are binding. Seller reserves the right to correct typing errors.

b. The accommodation reserves the right to change prices due to increased costs, taxes, or circumstances beyond control.

 

5. PAYMENT AND COMPENSATION

a. Payment can be made in full or in installments.

b. Minimum 50% must be paid at booking. The balance must be received 30 days before arrival. If booking less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid.

c. Non-payment may lead to cancellation according to regular terms.

 

6. COMPLAINTS

a. Dissatisfaction must be reported immediately to trysilrent.com (tel. 477 19 791) so we can rectify it. Complaints must be made within 24 hours of arrival.

 

7. CANCELLATION AND CHANGES

a. Cancellation >7 days before arrival: Refund minus 4% fee. <7 days: No refund.

b. Date changes: Must be done 30 days before arrival (or within 3 days if booked close to arrival). 4% admin fee applies.

c. Cancellations must be sent in writing to vikinggrenda5d@gmail.com.

d. Renter is responsible for their own travel insurance.

 

8. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

a. Key codes sent via SMS/email at check-in. Contact tel: 477 19 791.

b. Check-in: Vikinggrenda from 16:00 / Alpinvegen from 17:00.

c. Check-out: No later than 11:00.

 

9. FORCE MAJEURE

a. Seller is not liable for weather, closed facilities, or technical problems. Parties may withdraw if the unit cannot be used due to war, natural disasters, or prolonged loss of utilities.
